# Replit

> Use AgentPhone in your Replit apps and agents

## Getting started

[Replit](https://replit.com) is a cloud app and agent builder with a built-in IDE, AI assistant, and deployment infrastructure. AgentPhone is a connector on Replit, so your Replit apps and agents can provision numbers, send SMS and iMessage, and place voice calls.

## Setup

Open the **Integrations** tab in the Replit builder, find **AgentPhone**, and click **Connect**. Paste your AgentPhone API key from [Settings](https://agentphone.ai/settings). If the connector is unavailable in your workspace, store `AGENTPHONE_API_KEY` in Replit Secrets and use the SDK from server-side code. See [Replit integrations](https://docs.replit.com/features/integrations/overview) for workspace availability. Verify setup by listing numbers before trying paid actions.

## Using it

Once connected, your Replit app can call the AgentPhone API directly — buy numbers, send messages, and place calls. From there:

* Use any [AgentPhone SDK](/documentation/sdks/typescript) (or the REST API) in your Replit code.
* Prefer natural language and tool use? Add the [MCP server](/mcp) so your Replit agent can call AgentPhone autonomously.
* To handle inbound calls and texts, point an AgentPhone [webhook](/documentation/guides/webhooks) at your deployed app’s HTTPS handler route and save its signing secret in Secrets. Test signed delivery before processing incoming events. Hosted voice can answer calls without this handler.
