Claude Code Skill

The AgentPhone Skill for Claude Code gives you phone numbers, voice calls, and SMS right from the command line — no setup beyond an API key.

Installation

npx skills add AgentPhone-AI/skills

Select Claude Code and the desired project/global scope in the installer. Cloning the repository alone does not install it into the client’s skill directory. Verify that /agentphone appears in the client before continuing.

Configuration

Set your API key as an environment variable:

export AGENTPHONE_API_KEY=your_key_here

Get your API key from agentphone.ai/settings.

> /agentphone call +14155551234 and ask about their return policy
> /agentphone show me recent calls and transcripts
> /agentphone check my SMS conversations
> /agentphone set up a webhook at https://my-server.com/hook
> /agentphone show my usage stats
> /agentphone what voices are available?

How It Works

The skill is an instruction package with REST API and MCP references. The assistant can call the REST API with your key, or use an MCP server you have configured separately. Installing the skill does not start a server or grant new credentials.

Resource purchases, messages, and calls have the same pricing and channel requirements as direct API requests. Start with a read-only request such as listing your agents to verify setup.
